Pre-screening hints
- Going "back to the future" (compared to some previous older picks) - 80's flick for sure.
- Lesser known teen comedy.
- My first and only viewing was its brief release in the theater when I was in high school.
- Two very famous Hollywood icons are attached to the making of this film. One had his name removed from the credits due to rumored differences with the other.
- Another famous person (later director) has a hand in also making this movie.
- The theme of the film is loosely based on a much older, famous western movie.
- However, due to the chosen title (one or two others were considered) and the detachment of the person mentioned above in #4, the movie did not fare well in the box office, but became a lost, semi-cult favorite much later.
- One minor character in the movie is also the same actor who voices a familiar modern-day cartoon character in television.
- Another actor with a minor role is also an Arrested Development alum.
